Safe Harbor Information
Families and their teens have an opportunity to face their personal hardships brought on by rebellion in a confidential and positive environment. Safe Harbor, a faith-based organization announces its Family Refuge program will start in April at two locations; Hooverand Hueytown. Family Refuge is a 12 week program designed to lead parents and their teens toward repairing their relationship through instruction and support.
Family Refuge addresses the home environment, working with the youth and parent in order to reverse the tide toward destruction of home and family. During the weekly sessions, support is available to help teens regain self-respect, acceptance and security and to guide parents in better assessment and control of their respective situations.
Not only does each adolescent have a Mentor, the parents also have Parent Encouragers who stand alongside the family and offer support. Our program differs from other programs in this unique way - we work with the adolescent AND their family.
Now is the time for parents to take that confidential step in bringing peace to the storms in their lives. Please share this email with your friends.
